What I want to see in Skyrim

Post » Fri Nov 12, 2010 9:15 pm

I will make a short list, I hope you agree with it.

1. Aliens.

2. Laser Guns

3. Fast Travel

4. No CS

5. No Saving Anywhere, designated save points.

6. No stealing, cause its wrong.

7. No magic, its against my religion.

8. A magic compass to lead me to the secret location of the quest, which I am suppose to be finding out by myself.

9. Invisible Walls.

Why do I want all these things?
Because, I want everyone to enjoy the game MY way, and not let them have their freedom.

Yep, I'm right along with most of the people that are putting their suggestions.

This is a great list.

Yes I am glad that somebody else sees how awesome guns will be in Skyrim.

Honestly this was satirical.

But quick question, as you were reading the list, did anyone take me seriously?

@ Swarley, personally I only want Fast Travel out of that list. But I know there was this whole hate thing about it so I wanted to add it.
The magic compass? should be optional TBH, but even that wouldnt work because bethesda PROBABLY wouldnt take the time to add dialog that leads you there. :P

I knew you weren't serious . . . or hoped you weren't serious. I mean, some people actually want guns so. . . I wouldn't be surprised.

Honestly I hated staves (Why is this marked as wrong? Staffs isn't a word... wtf?) in oblivion. They were too expensive to recharge, and often missed.

I would PREFER staffs be better done. Or just use morrowind's system of 'recharge as you go'
That, and I think you should be able to make staff's with multiple effects.. What was with that?

You aren't still being satirical right, because I agree with this one...

That was productive :celebration:

No Elder Scrolls game hasn't had Fast Travel, I just liked Morrowinds in built Fast Travel as opposed to Oblivions game mechanic fast travel

I know it was satire, I am making fun of the fact that it is bad satire and its really just a list of complaints, with satire you have to get the audience to disagree with everything you say

little more subtlety would have made it better

also quest markers were always optional

I actually meant the staves part.

@Eldest Scroll

Nonproductive? I made it to make a statement, might be nonproductive, but I still made it.

Good taste? That is an opinion, not an adjective to be used so factually.

4. Spamming/Cross-posting are not allowed.

Spam is the posting of advertisemants, abusive, or unneeded messages on Internet forums. Off topic comments, or posts that have little or no relevance to the subject being discussed, or a post that does not contribute to the thread and repetitive threads are all considered spam on this forum.

5. Trolling is not allowed here.

In Internet terminology, a troll is someone who intentionally posts derogatory or otherwise inflammatory messages about sensitive topics in an established online community such as this forum to bait users into responding. They may also plant images and data that others may find disturbing (usually indirectly relating to the individual in person) in order to cause confrontation.

Besides spam and posts that might earn posters warnings, is there another purpose to this? There are other threads about what people want in the game. Use one of those.
