Question 'bout clothing pieces! :D ns ns ns ns break it down

Post » Sun Nov 14, 2010 11:51 pm

I haven't seen anything on it yet, but will there be clothing pieces that give bonuses? Such as a a pair of pants that increases your supplies by one pip or something? I would understand there not being anything of that sort since it's an FPS, but I think achievement/trophy/DLC based armor pieces that give minor boosts to your stats would add even more strategy to this already strategic bamf of a game.

I most certainly hope not, and I'm actually certain no such items exist in Brink. Adding stats to articles of clothing has the awful effect of people dressing ONLY to min max the best stats.

I want everyone, and I'm sure SD feels the same way, but I want everyone to set up their character to look the way they want them too. If I'm killing Joe, I want to know I'm killing Joe without ever needing to see his name.

I instantaneously revoke my opinion on this matter.

What he said, if clothing gave advantages everyone most people would pick the same thing aka shield because you can take more damage <_< or the clothing that increases damage and then most people will look the same

Hmmm...I could look into forming an alliance with the chicken empire I suppose. Sausage is a part of our infinite pig empire though, and as such the sausage monarch is a trustworthy ally of mine.

Greetings Bacon Prince,
I am Tommy Bozzer, The Preacher and with my disciples we plan to wander the world in search for everything epic.
So I'm randomly going to propose an alliance between The Bacon Royal Army and The Disciples.
Is it a deal?
