Does anybody know if the pre-order bonuses need LIVE to get? I don't have a DSL connection, so no Live. >.<

lol, I always forget there's a non-PC version out there (though I'd personally not bother :P).

In that case, I believe you're screwed.

umm Steam is for PC not for 360 haha. Ya dude looks like you need to get live up and running if you really want that amazing, beautiful, awe inspiring, homage to FO1 armor :fallout:

Luckily I have PS3 so it's FREE YA

The cost of live isn't the issue, for two reasons. One, he stated he doesn't have DSL/Cable internet, so even with the free PSN he's boned. Two, even with XBL silver you can download this type of content.

Not flaming you, just clarifying.

As for the OP's predicament...

Maybe you have a friend or relative that can give you internet access to download the file?

I saw a story about a soldier in Iraq who bought a special edition game he already had, just for the extra content, and it never labeled anywhere that the special edition features were a DLC code for the internet. He wasn't able to enjoy the DLC.

Your on the same boat. The newest way of giving pre-order DLC isn't even a code card in the game box, its now a code on the receipt. It saves them money, and it makes life rough for people who can't access the internet.

You need live to access your pack. There's no way around it :sadvaultboy: That really svcks, since you'll need internet to download any patches that come along too.

Yup. The Pack is simply a voucher code that you enter and download from Playstation Network/Xbox Live Marketplace/Steam. But you're not missing much. There are other vault suits, canteens, stimpacks, and 10mm pistols in the game.

Sorry when someone mentions they can't get something cause they don't have LIVE it's usually because of the price. I really don't have time to read everything so I've learned how to draw a usually accurate conclusion.

No console war talk here or the thread gets closed :toughninja:

You need your console/PC connected online to get the digital bonus. Xbox LIVE users can use a Silver Account (which is free) to access the content.

This account or access can be from anywhere. So, set your account up at a friends house on their Internet. Then connect up your 360, get the content (and activation for those on PC) then take the rig home and enjoy the game/content. You will not have to connect to Steam again.

Yes, to use any pre-order DLC code you need to be connected to Xbox Live, and then enter the code into the ''Redeem Code'' section of the Xbox Guide menu.
