First off, no good and evil when it comes to the gods, just their nature. For instance, Arkay is about life and death, blight and growth, disease and prosperity. His nature is one that is very neutral, in that things are born, then die. He's an up and down. He's the circle of life. The 9 are part of Mundus, the mortal realm, for they gave a piece of themselves up, and as such they are the world. The ones who gave themselves up completely become the Earthbones, also known as the laws of nature.

The daedra did not participate in the creation of Mundus. As such, they reside in Oblivion, and created their own worlds by making themselves that world, and having complete control over it. For them, why the heck would they want to purposely weaken and/or kill themselves, and not have control over that realm?

neither daedra nor the divines are "good" or "evil", it is extremely subjective.

TIL has a good guide to the divines http://www.imperial-library.info/nine_divines/. im not sure what you mean by "where." the gods have their own plane[t]s, but they are also all up in nirn since they gave their life to create it. thats the simple (and simplified) answer.

Thanks for clearing that up. I always thought the nine divines were good although I just read the daedric princes are not good nor evil. But I have one last question I'm looking for a god/daedric prince that likes the creation of undead beings and I'm not sure there is one? Anyone have any ideas for that?

Arkay is the closest thing to a death god. However, Arkay LOATHES the undead. They are not natural, and disrupt the cycle of life and death.

Otherwise, the closest you are going to get is the Necromancer's moon, which is probably Mannimarco the God of Worms (divine form), as opposed to Mannimarco the King of Worms (mortal form).

It appears that the Aedra exist as eight planets which orbit Nirn and are essentially part of the mortal plane. So not in Aetherius and not quite on earth either.

However, just to put a spin on it: from a mortal's perspective, the Daedra are most likely to mess up your life, and the Aedra are most likely to help you out, though not in a "Ok, I'll make you more fertile so you can have children" kind of way.
