Concernig the Gray Fox

Well I'm currently busy with my mod that improves the Waterfront and make it the homebase of the Thieves Guild, I've planned alot of stuff wich will make the guild look more orginized... The improvements cover both common members but the Fox gets much extra's... But I've a few questions concerning the lore of the fox...
Hello, my name is Obama and I'm the gray fox...

people would read:

Hello, my name is ----- and I'm the gray fox...

and what will they read when the curse is lifted?

Or maybe they'd read it, but given some of the Gray Fox's dialogue, it'd be as if the sentence was never uttered. So you'd read: "I'm about to tell you my name. [This sentence, you'd never remember at all, but it would be here]. I just told you my name." I think. Don't quote me on that one.

Afterwords, you could either go the route of just the name being hidden, because it'd connect the current Gray Fox with the cowl and the remains of the curse might just strike the name from history, but not the identity. Or you could go for complete "My name is Superman and I am the Gray Fox."

I am a bit shaky on this though, so you can ignore me.

So if Dareloth was the 1st gray fox, how come he is known?
source: UESP

maybe because that's an assessment of the questline's lore written by a uesp user? It even mentions The name of Tes 4. Its clearly not a work that's found in-game.
