Camera Effects Poll

Post » Fri Dec 17, 2010 11:45 pm

Er...the only ones that would even work, at all, "like it is on your eyes" are the blurring and blindness. Mud, snow, raindrops, dirt, water from swimming- they all work the same: they're too close to focus on, and if they're on your eyes result in blurring and/or blindness.

This. And about third person: There are no cameras in Tamriel, so all kinds of camera-related effects wouldn't make sense.

It's not a camera. It's my character's eyes. Blurred vision and blindness is okay, the others are not.

Except blurring and blindness would make the game unplayable for many. Screen texture overlays, with or without animations, you can cope with even in the long run.

With that logic, 3rd person should be completely removed completely, because 3rd person view doesn't exist anywhere.

In 1st person: It's not a camera. It's my character's eyes. Blurred vision and blindness is okay, the others are not.

3rd person i don't care about but since the poll is kinda limited i just said 1st and 3rd, blurry and blind only.

I'd love to see camera effects like rain snow and blood, also a moving camera adds to the immersion, like swaying when you walk and shaking when you're hit ect.
