Skyrim is sixy

What was your reaction when you found out there would be TES V: SKYRIM?

Considering how many people thought the series ended, just like myself.
I p i s s e d my pants when I found out. Then I called my boyfriend and began screaming from excitement.
And you?

I was one of the people suggesting reasons why they wouldn't announce it at the VGAs, so I was very surprised, as I wasn't expecting it for a long time . Obviously very happy though (IIRC I stayed up until 2am just to check to see if they would announce it :P ).

All thoughts of Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 disappeared in an instant. Thank god I've only recently started playing New Vegas, it's keeping me sane.

Bethesda works on one project at a time, for the most part. They did not spend a solid 4-5 years on Skyrim because they were working on several other things between Oblivion and now.

Also, who the hell thought Oblivion was the end of the series? What would make anyone think that, especially considering how successful Oblivion was? It wasn't like the world ended or something, it was just the end of the Third Era.

Has? I'm sorry sir/ma'am, but I presume that you haven't heard of Bethesda? They deliver nothing but a shear Perfection , and that's since the 80's It'll be amazing, genre defining, divine, whatelseisoutthere. Bethesda is masters of open world RPG, TES saga has practically defined RPG open world gaming as its, and each and every one of their new releases always raises bar a notch.
