New install crashes on load (FCOM)

I followed the 50+ steps to a stable FCOM install to the best of my ability skipping a few mods I didn't want (like clocks of cyrodiil) and the PYFFI and TES4Edit stuff. I used BOSS multiple times and everything is green in wyre bash. This is the third or fourth time over the years I have installed FCOM. The game crashes at the loading bar when I go to start a new game or load a saved game I downloaded. It even crashes when I disable all mods. Anyone know what is wrong?

7D MassA.I-40.esp redundant as option included in Wrye Bash

7B Francesco's day lenght rescale 1-12.esp definitely to remove -conflicts

2B EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer.esp - replace this with EVE for FCOM.esp

6E Mart's Monster Mod - Resized Races.esp [Version 3.7b3p3] - redundant with FCOM. Creates problems and without it you still get the resized reces with FCOM anyway (am quoting Corepc himself)

2A MaleBodyReplacerV4.esp should be merged

25 Living Economy.esp; 26 Living Economy - Items.esp; 27 Cutthroat Merchants.esp must not be played along with 28 Enhanced Economy.esp [Version 4.2.1] - they are incompatible because do the same thing. Get rid of LE, leave EE as it is the better newer mod

46 VASE - Cyrodiil for MMM.esp - keep this
47 VASE - Vanilla Cyrodiil.esp - remove this; it is incompatible with 46 and will create only problems

5F Harvest [Flora].esp [Version 3.0.0] update to 3.0.1 which is the latest stable version. I remember 3.0.0 was causing CTDs
60 Harvest [Flora] - Shivering Isles.esp [Version 3.0.0] Merge with wrye bash





As a whole CTD on loading in 95% means missing master. I couldn't find anything amiss though... Try to remove Screen Effects and load again. I remember it gaveme massive CTDs andstutter when I tried it.
General troubleshooting for CTDs: start uninstalling mods in small groups(3-5) starting with the latest installed. load game,check if still CTDs, then next 3-5 and so on.
Just a thought: did you or did you not delete your Oblivion ini? If you delete it, game will create new one which you can tweak later.
Another thought:Last persistent CTDs I had were caused by Enhanced Economy. Do you have this setting inthe ini? set tnoEE.alt_gameSetting to 1 If not, do it.

Oblivion.ini is in Documents/My Games folder (or something like that, depends on which Windows you have)

I've done everything you have said including disabling Screen Effects and the supporting mods for it and it still crashes when it tries to load a new or existing game. Is there not an error log somewhere that keeps track of what files and esps are being loading and what messes it up?

Rename the ini found in My Documents\My Games\Oblivion and allow the game to generate a fresh one on game load.

If you'd followed Blade Of Mercy's directions to the letter the crash would have highlighted itself as soon as the faulty mod was turned on and tested. This makes me assume you've done a mass installation, switched on, and hoped for the best.
Really, that doesn't work.
Revert back to a basic FCOM installation and test thoroughly before making more additions.

renamed ini and still a crash, theres no log file anywhere or any program that keeps track? I'm just going to try all over again tonight if not.
