AVG and FireFox 4.0

Post » Sat Jan 15, 2011 5:43 pm

So, I managed to get FF 4.0 to download a few weeks ago, and after a few cosmetic changes got it up and running to my liking, with one glaring exception: My AVG Safesearch and AVG Security toolbar. Both come up as incompatible, and when I try to see if there any updates to fix that, it says now. Has anyone else had this issue, or know how to fix it? I like my AVG being a part of my browser, makes me feel safer, even though the only sites I go to are here and a few other name-brand sites.

You could always feel even safer by replacing AVG with FlashBlock, NoScript, and AdBlock Plus.

I have all those things :). Well, not flashblock, but I always run Noscript and Adblock Plus ^^. What's the point in flashblock when you have noscript and adblock plus? Doesn't Noscript stop flash things from running on a page automatically? Pretty sure it does....
