I'm getting a headache looking at these forums when 90% of the things can be answered oh so simply.

From Alpha to Beta and Beta to RC you'll see a difference in textures and graphical features. Until then, good lord.

Except you don't release a gameplay trailer full of placeholders, now do you?
4 years into development, and 8 months from release, is not in alpha.

While I agree, a sticky won't help. People don't read stickies enough on this forum as it is.

Except just awhile back it was tweeted that they were even in PRE-ALPHA stages. I'm giving them a bit more credibility and following up with Alpha. There is no way in all hell that they're in Beta right now.

This footage could have been taken months ago. It could easily be from the alpha build.

This is the unfortunate truth. Often people don't even bother to go beyond the first page or use the search function before making a thread either. :shrug:

At any rate, I think it may be best to close this topic and just focus on the discussions at hand.
