Looks like it did not put the backslash in the paths, I have such things fixed in the newer (un-released) version :)

It utterly depresses me that this was ever necessary or would even be worth the download to anyone. It's seriously not hard at all to install... All you need to do is read the (rather short) readme! Sigh.

Anyway, thank you, Insanity Sorrow, for your impressive effort to reduce the number of stupid questions on these forums.

My thoughts exactly.

OBSE is nothing more than a drag-and-drop install. There are only two steps involved in it, and they are numbered 1 and 2 in the readme file. The most common issue I see people having comes from step 2 of the install, and that is creating the shortcut to obse_loader.exe, and using that to launch the game. Does your OBSE Installer address that hurdle?

I'll give you an A for effort, Insanity. But I don't envy the position you have placed your self in with releasing this app. Now the bulk of the "stupid questions" will be directed toward you. :nope:

Figured as much. Thanks for the reply.

We could say the same for thousands of mods that many users to fail too. Just browse the Nexus forums once a day. You'll see plenty such questions, many of which could be answered if they just read the whole description on the Nexus page, without even referencing the ReadMe. :(

Happy gaming all! ^____^

help those who struggle with installing OBSE :)

People who don't read readmes don't deserve help. Kudos to you for doing it anyway, but really now...
