Gaining Spell Points

Post » Mon Jan 24, 2011 7:52 pm

How do you gain spell points? Don't you just level up and add points to intelligence?
And what is a quick and easy way to gain spell points because i want to get a recall spell but it
costs way too many spell points I only have 32 spell points and I watch youtube videos and I see some people have like
a bunch.

Somebody help me!

How do you gain magicka on Daggerfall?
Or what is an easy way without doing ridiculous quests or daedra summoning?

In Daggerfall your character's amount of magicka by default is 0.5x your Intelligence, so yes, increasing your intelligence will increase your amount of magicka. However, you may find it more useful and worth your time (like I did) to restart your game and select one of the magicka-increasing special advantages. There are options for 1x, 1.5x, 2x, and 3x your character's Intelligence. Other than that, I don't know much because I'm fairly new to Daggerfall myself.

Or.. If you really don't want to start over, there's always a little thing called DF-Edit..

Also keep in mind that increasing your skill in a school of magic decreases the magicka cost of spells of that school. At max skill, the spell cost should be around 5 magicka.

Also, make your combat spells area of effect spells. If you take Spell Absorbtion at character creation, you should just absorb your own spell back into you, replenishing your mana, and still hurting enemies.

It works for me anyway.
