I wasn't aware of strong storms in Alabama and Tennessee, but right now (here in New York state), it's raining harder than I've ever witnessed before with strong winds blowing, thunder blasting away, and lightning lighting up the sky. The lights keep dimming down for a few seconds before going back to fully-functioning, again. Also, there is a tornado watch in my area and, in a nearby county, a tornado warning. As far as I was aware, we don't get tornadoes in New York state, so this is pretty abnormal (They're bound to be weak tornadoes that won't cause much damage, I guess, but if the wind out there is indicative of anything... wow.). I hope the basemant doesn't flood.
