Arena - extremely low FPS (frames per second)

Is it supposed to be so "laggy" or is something wrong with my computer/DOSBox? Also, how do you fight?

You can arrange the game by clicking some buttons, I forgot what they were but they make the game go faster, I'm sure you could find them in the DOSbox setup. To attack, you drag your cursor along the screen while clicking on the mouse.

I mean like the turning and moving, not the game speed itself, sorry, I should have been more clear.

Go to DOSBox options and change the cycles to "max". Save and tell me how that runs.

By the way, welcome to the forums.

Arena's system requirements are really demanding. Upgrade your computer. :)

ctrl + F12

hit that button combination a bunch of times, you'll see the cycles get bigger

That's not saved, though.

To attack, hold down the right mouse button while dragging the mouse, and therefore your weapon, across the screen. As for changing weapons and accessing your inventory, click on your character's picture and click next page on the bottom of the screen.

Are your fists in the air? Then are you hitting the right mouse button when "swinging" them? It is the same with a sword, but just your hands.
