Wandering into their 'trap' radius will prime them. Leaving this zone will detonate the mine.
So by logic, as long as /someone/ of the mine's target team is in the zone, the mine will just be primed, but will not detonate.
So here's the thing; someone stumbles upon a mine. A teammate steps into the trap zone as well. What happens if the first guy now leaves the mine's trap zone? Will the mine detonate (because the person who primed it left the zone), or will it not (because someone is still in the zone)?
The reason I ask is, of course, FOR SCIENCE... but a more important reason; transport-objectives. Imagine this; you're a soldier or medic, are carrying an objective that needs to be delivered, and you run into a mine. Your engineer/operative teammates are busy, and the only teammate near you is a soldier or medic. He can't 'spot' or disarm the mine, so he can't help you. Or can he? Wouldn't it be neat if that teammate would be able to take the honorable path of sacrificing himself for you, by stepping onto the mine, so it doesn't explode once you run off to deliver the objective?
More so, what if he even gains a good bit of experience for this act of teamwork (and bonus xp because he did it for someone who is carrying an objective)?
Discuss, gentlemen.
