Tears aren't enough

The new trailer literally brought a tear to my eye. I am not at all ashamed to admit that.

I've watched it about six times now and I'm still playing it in the background. I'm looking for some of the cool features that are going to be in the game.

I actually think I've found my first Nirnroot! (or its equivalent - @1:43-44)

Anyway, long story short, I think this game is going to be the greatest video game ever produced when it comes out. I have no doubt that MANY hours of my life will dwindle away in front of Skyrim.
The first thing I want to do is find that river with the rapids in it and jump in. I love swimming in TES.

What about ya'll?

I concur with this opinion , like seeing some long lost reletive - and the epicness of it all - was emotional :)

I think it's because the video manages to pull out two emotions in me.

For one, it brings out that original excitement that I get before any huge and epic game. I felt this before Rome: TW came out, and in the months leading up to Oblivion in particular. I love the wait for the next incredible game, and this trailer brings that feeling back to me like only an Elder Scrolls game can.

But more than that, and indeed somewhat because of it, this trailer brings back a particular brand of nostalgia. I remember sitting at my desk watching trailers for Oblivion. I remember where I was and what was going on then. I remember finally getting my hands on the game and the first few glorious hours I spent playing it. I remember the years that I've spent playing it since.

None of these memories are anything but the fondest. I love the things I've been able to do with Oblivion, and I love the feeling I get when playing it even today. But nothing compares to the wonder I felt while that game was still in its infancy. That was a feeling I never thought I could have again, because Oblivion has already been done.

I was wrong.

Skyrim brings back all of these old wonderful memories, all of these nostalgic feelings of wonder and amazement, and a brand new, fresh feeling of excitement all of its own.
I have never, never been so excited for a game in my life.

Thank you Bethesda.

I think I've already lost an indescribable amount (and variety) of bodily fluids to this trailer.

Like revisiting an old friend. I think that sums it up perfectly.

The music, the scenary, the story.... did I mention the music?

All of it sums up the best in The Elder Scrolls series.

I for one am proud to be an Elder Scrolls fan today.
