So when I preordered yesterday my gamestop didn't tell me about the bonus doom stuff I just found out about. What do I do to get it? Do I need to go back to them and get a code or something or is there something I can do without their involvement to get it for myself?

They were looking on their little board full of preorder bonuses when I paid them and said there was nothing, kind of implying whatever was to be done was supposed to be done at the time of purchase. I just realized this is the first time I've bought a game that has preorder bonuses since this whole trend started. Sorry for my ignorance.

yeah if you pre-ordered it at gamestop then you should get the code for your pack when you go pick up the game. Well thats how it rolls here at least =]

I'd wait it out until you go to get the game. If it doesn't contain a code for the Doom package then be sure to ask about it. That's why I always check my games immediately after the GameStop guy takes my money. I don't want to get duped.

They used to give codes away when you preordered a game, but people would lay $5 down and get the bonus and then never buy the game from them. I guess they smartened up.. every game I have purchased within the last yr or so that had a pre order bonus, I got that code when I picked up the game. usually on the receipt...

I work at gamestop. WHen you go to pick it up just make sure they give you the code for the Doom pack. YOu'll get it. The person helping you was prolly new or couldnt find the right preorder bonus book. You get the doom pack code the day you pick up your game.
