1. does anybody else wonder how the free running will look when your not holding a gun? (like from 1st person. i know it looks the same in 3rd person)

2. will anybody else look forward to being a soldier,engi, or medic and randomly spotting that guy not doing anything on your team. who then runs to a command post (while you follow him) then melee him and blast him in the face with your favorite weapon (shotgun for me ) and laughing at how many people think their sneaky as the Op?

#1- What do you mean "Not holding a gun"? You're always holding a gun, even when you're using abilities. Performing any actions while in disguise will ruin it.

all u can do is move reload and something else, i forget. but u can't ineract with any thing. so no parkour

In that case, you'll still be able to parkour. :3

However, a heavy taking the disguise of a light will still be a heavy, he'll just put it in a girdle for a bit.

I want to see a light op in a heavy disguise, and the reaction of players when they see some fatso showing off pro parkour moves.

In disguise all you can do is reload and spot mines. If you parkour it gotes bye bye.

Or getting knifed in the back because people will actually learn to play the Op

When in Disguise what does his team see?

Which is why I think Disguise is just a cop out way to earn yourself a free kill. Sure, you can spy on the enemy, but how long will it take for them to realize "Hey... there's all my friends on the radar... why is this guy... oh.." or the classic "Why isn't he shooting at the obvious guy in front of us... oh..."

Once the Op vanishes from his disguise from killing someone, it's up to the team to turn around and remove the threat. If they don't turn around, then Disguise is successful only because of the horrible team their up against.

Disguises really are only a tool to quickly get past the frontlines, before you parkour your way to the target objective.

No idea yet. Last time I checked it was what disguise he stole but he may have like a blue aura around him or something.


Calling out positions is more helpful than you know. Also, sneaking into an enemy command post and getting the drop on someone in there and taking it is freaken awsome. :spotted owl:

If it is anything like Wolfenstein ET (Sorry, but I'm an avid player of this game, and SD seems to have taken many ideas from it), your team will see you just as the enemies will, however there may be an indicator above your head letting them know that you are in disguise.

Very true. But we still have the speculation if we can still use voice chat with PUG (Pick Up Groups aka random people) in the game. If I'm with my friends, then heck yeah I will scout out the enemy.

Getting the drop on the enemy and taking their command post is freaken awesome, but it all comes down to luck if the enemy doesn't rush in and stop you from capturing it.

Overall, Intelligence is a huge part of the Disguise ability. :grad:

I just hope people don't run servers with friendly fire off, otherwise using disguise will be useless.
