MMM and OOO compatibility

Are OOO and MMM compatible with the DLCs, Open Cities, and UL? OBMM says they're not, but I don't see why they wouldn't be.

OBMMs conflict report is completely useless. All those mods can be used together with the correct patches and load order.

OBMM's conflict detection is horrible. They are completely compatible with one another. Just make sure the get the MMMMWLl UL patches from the UL patches Nexus page.

Edit: ...if you want to use More Wilderness Life, that is.

Thanks, guys! I'm off to go install OOO. (I installed MMM yesterday)

I just wish OOO had an omod to make it quicker to install. :P

I thought OOO came packaged with omod conversion data? You just have to create it yourself.

Installing OOO with OBMM could take about 45mins. It's NOT quick.

Making you own bain package and installing that tho...

It does take a few minutes, but it is only a 1 time thing. I'll get around to learning Bain one of these days...

Actually, you don't have to repackage it as the bulk of OOO installs fine with BAIN as it is packaged, i.e. the resources and the main esp/esm. You'd have to add the optional esp's/add-ons manually, though.

This http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Bain about bain actually uses OOO as an example, so is very useful. I'd ignore/leave out the living economy and use Nice One's Enhanced Economy tho

For someone that is not familiar with BAIN, repackaging OOO and figuring out BAIN would make that 45 minutes look like nothing. Plus, I can't remember installing OOO taking over half an hour. I'd be surprised if it took 10 minutes...

That depends a lot on the rig - in my case, with an ancient AMD Athlon 64 3500+, I'm pretty sure it would take a long time - although I've never tested it with OOO, but with some other large archives.

Also, not really necessary to repackage for BAIN as said. Keeping track on a couple of optional esp's that are manually installed should be rather simple. In my case I'm not using any OOO optionals so I gain nothing by repacking it.
