Anyone here who has an Xbox without Live? : Othor Games

Title says it all. I have silver membership (or free as its known now) and have had it for ages. I'll be getting gold finally in the summer months, though, but I'm wondering who else doesn't have Xbox Live on their xboxes?

And please, try not to turn it into a stupid console war. Cheers :thumbsup:

Ive got a xbox 360 its not hooked up to the internet though, it's just for exclusives that i think look good.

Same here. It was hooked up to the 'net for about a week last summer. Now I don't have an ISP and I can't tether my Android to it.

I don't have my 360 hooked up to to live either. I do not have wireless up at my place, and my 360 is in a different room than my pc. Kind of a bummer.

I believe its high time Microsoft made it able to play online using silver membership, and gold can include all other priveleges like demand tv for example.

I use Live only do download DLC. I have to drag the console into the office where we have broadband, but otherwise I never use Live.

I bought a year's Live Gold when I first got my student loan, so I have it until september, but I only ever plug my xbox into the internet for updates and DLC usually. Although I do occasionally play multiplayer.

I had my xbox without Live for about a year, and I've had live ever since. Well, I'm actually just a silver member at the moment, I need to renew soon but it must wait a little longer for I have exams

I've never had live in all the years of owning xbox/xbox360. I do my online gaming on the pc

No I don't play online games on the Xbox, I'm not paying $60 a year when I can play for free on PC. :shrug:

I don't particularly care though. It's not like I play many shooters and I don't know of any real MMO's on Xbox either. So the only thing that would be kinda nice to have is to download patches for video games and that's about it.

My gold subscription ran out several months ago and I haven't bothered to renew it. I very rarely play console games online anymore, so I can't justify paying a monthly subscription for it. Besides, I can use my PS3 for Netflix, so there's no point in having gold at all.

I have an Xbox 360 with LIVE but I have a monthly bandwidth cap so I pretty much use my Xbox without the LIVE.

I'm really going to miss it when I start playing BRINK next week(end).

I don't, and that says it all. Being in college drains my money, so I am using all my money to buy classes, books, food, and things like soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc. Growing up can svck at times.... BUT once I am out of college and start my profession, I might splurge on Xbox live. One year down, three more to go...

and by then there will be some new console with a more expensive online thingamabob

*waves hand* Xbox doesn't support any connection less then 56.5k, and my dial-up is 26.4k so I have no Xbox Live. Not like I particularly feel like I"m missing anything ^^ Not much to do on Live besides play with other people, and since I dislike CoD games I don't really have a need to play online ^^

Don't need Gold to play FFXI Online on the Xbox, I have several friends who play it, only need the free Silver

I've only had a three month one time, back in the summer of '10. I'd go over to my friend's house and use his connection. Now, I only use it for DLC and patches, and even then, only once every six months/whenever I get good DLC with a game/whenever new DLC comes out.
