There's always http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/. I've got Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3 running quite well on a Mac. My only problem is getting left and right tap (clicks) to work with the touchpad while in game which is odd 'cause they work with Dragon Age.

Try http://boxer.washboardabs.net/. It's supposed to run on PowerPC. I don't know if it will run Arena, but a lot of work has been done to make Daggerfall play nice with Boxer. It may require 10.4 or later, but it's worth a try.

No need for the fancy stuff. DosBox runs more smoothly on OSX than Windows, I've played it on both.

Install it the same as you would on windows, only instead of these slashes "\" use these slashes "/"

and for the directory mount c (where your game is)

The easiest way to do it is to put your downloaded daggerfall stuff into a folder called games, then stick it in applications

mount c /applications/games

TO PLAY ARENA ON MAC: you have to extract it in windows first. So, extract it in an emulator, like virtual pc, then drag the extracted files over to OSX. Or extract it on a friend's pc then burn the stuff on a cd.

Once extracted, it will all run on mac, because they're dos files anyway.

P.S. bootcamp won't work on a mac with a powerPC processor, unfortunately

PM me if you have any trouble installing either.

As I said, DosBox is the way to go.

Unlike that step-by-step guide may imply, DosBox is not a pain in the behind at all. You don't have to be tech savvy. Follow the steps I PM'd you then post if you get it working.

Question to mods:

If I were to write some instructions on how to install Daggerfall on DosBox with mac, would you sticky it?

There doesn't seem to be anything mac-friendly up there.
