Hello, I got a new computer a while ago and felt like playin Daggerfall again, so I downloaded it off the site and what not, installed it and everything. After I was done I made a shortcut from DOSBox to launch Daggerfall instantly, but whenever I try to put the game in fullscreen on DOSBox (Alt + Enter), the game minimizes and then goes back to windowed mode. This might be because of my moniter's native resolution (1900x1200), or not, but the game runs fine except if I put it in fullscreen mode. If anyone could explain how to put the game in fullscreen mode I would really appreciate it.

Here are my computer specs just in case, I don't know if they are necessary

Windows 7 OS 64-bit
Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz 2.67GHz
GeForce GTX 260
9.00 Gigs of RAM

Open the DOSBox config file and then change these two lines to what you want.
fullresolution=original
output=surface

For example, you could try changing them into this.
fullresolution=1900x1200
output=ddraw

I originally had my config set to

fullresolution=1900x1200
output=opengl

but I changed them back to the original settings, but neither works. It works perfectly until I go to full screen. This is really making me mad >:(


And I mean I had those two settings set to that, the others I did were recommended by the installation guide found here, but I did install from the actual Bethesda guide.


Okay nevermind, I got the game to work in full screen! I don't know why, but it just kinda started working. I did update my drivers, so thats probably what did it.

Also good to find the line about aspect and set it to true. That way if you play on a widescreen monitor the game will be the correct shape and guys won't look squashed.
