I'm still a fan of rallying neutral or good dragons to your side, though considering dragons were called "not nice" in the podcast something tells me they will all be generically evil. I hope to be pleasantly surprised with more than one dimensional character depth, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Even if you don't transform you still have dragon-like powers as the dragonborn though.

Bah...they're followers of the time god, Akatosh/Alduin/Auriel, they're commanded to do his bidding as they're pretty much what angels are to God. And with time, there's the beginning, middle, and end. In Skyrim, we're witnessing the end, and likely we're trying to prevent it and continue the middle. It's only natural to us, as it's very likely we are the incarnate of Shor/Shezarr/Lorkhan.

And you have to consider this, not everyone likes the idea of Mundus, particularly the mer (save for the dunmer). They would see what Alduin is doing as a good thing (i.e. the removal of Mundus). They view Mundus to be nothing more than a prison created by Shor's/Shezarr's/Lorkhan's trickery to rob everyone's super cool sweet god powers and immortality. To the men (save for Redguards/Yokudans), Mundus is a good thing and it was created out of Shor's/Shezarr's/Lorkhan's mercy to help the lesser spirits and ascend to higher planes of existence, and also show mortals his failure so that they may succeed. Vivec agrees.

To us, the dragons are viewed as being evil, for they're following the will of Alduin. To the mer, they're good, for they're following the will of Auriel. It's a matter of perspective, and belief has a huge influence on how the gods work.

No. I hate the idea, sounds like something a 7 year old would come up with.
