what that spell was in the trailer where the character was in first-person view and had his hands in front of him and casted an orangish glowing ball of something? Also who digged that staff that shot that ball of light? This isn't even going to be a video game....this is going to be our lives people. Also I don't know if this is posted on the forums at all but did you guys notice the guy playing a violin or somethin' in the trailer?

I didn't notice the violin but if there is minstrels I will be a happy man. I liked the fact that it seems when you equip a spell your hand has the spell it, eg. when he had the fireball in his hand

The magic makes me want to play as a mage now.

I think it's a lute the guy in the tavern is playing. But my best guess as to what that spell was is that it's what happens if you equip the same spell in both hands.

Hold on I'll play it now and let you know... oh wait, I'm not a developer or a time travelling cowboy. Oh well.

definitely really good spell effects added in the game, and i think there is entertainment in the bars or pubs. Also i wouldn't know what that orange spell that was, but the staff spell looked like a light to light up the cave so it all looks pretty sick

Is it just me or does that fireball look really weak especially for something being used with two hands?

Anyone else notice that in this same scene the skeleton enemy points at the pc with his weapon like he's taunting him?

If you look to the right, just as the ball of orange is about to do what ever it does, something swirles around the character in the same color. Destruction spells don't usually do that, but its hard to tell what else it would be.

I really can't tell what this spell does, but its obvious that it takes two hands to do it. Maybe there will be some specific powerful spells that need both hands, just like there are some sword that take two hands to use? Or possibly a specific animation for when you use two spells that have the same effect?

havok plays a much bigger role in this game so it's possible. i know they totally revamped spells and archery...
