Hi there,

I installed Daggerfall according to http://www.gamesas.com/?showtopic=1012957 (also installed it according to the official instructions but that didn't really work out) and finally I'm able to start the game. BUT:
Everytime I click on a province in the selection (after starting a new game) the game exits to DosBox and the emulator prints the following error message:

Daggerfall has encountered an internal error at 0.
The error reported was: Code: 211 not found in
Exiting...

And I have absolutely no idea how to fix this :-/
Any ideas?

From where did you download your copy?

Did you download the latest patch (2.13 I believe)?


I hope you get it to work DF is a great game.

I got the game from bethesdas download section and I patched to 213.

I guessing it's the character creator that is hanging up?

IF you can reinstall without the patch make a character then save install patch and go from there.

Are you on Windows 7, Vista, or XP?

Is your DOSbox up to date?

My DosBox version is 0.63 and I use Windows 7.

Error 0 is almost always fixed by reinstalling the game. Something just got left out, so try again.

Hm.. I installed it two times but it didn't work :-/

Well, but at least now it works
