Since the release of the new trailer, I've have been going back and forth on deciding what my first character will be...either a warrior or a mage. Before the release of trailer, I was leaning towards a warrior. But the trailer mind-screwed me and left me with a decision; and I thought I'd let you lovely people decide for me. And whatever has the most votes by 2:00 tomorrow morning...is what my first character will be.

Go the dual class fighter / mage.

Or if you want to test the game to the limits already mentioned.

Try a Druid or fighter / priest.
Druid: Limit yourself with only natural weapons like clubs, staves and daggers.
Wear only leather armours no metal.
Cast spells of healing, nature, summoning.. like healing spells, cures, boosts, summon Atronarchs, drains, or any new ones made for Skyrim.
Avoid heavy AoE damage spells especially relating to fire, go more lightning and frost.
Create poisons and potions.
A subtle build, summons, boosts and disruptive magic is what they're good at.

Fighter / priest: Limit weapons to any blunt.
Wear any armour you like, heavier the better though.
Healing, absorb, boosts like fortify, shields, protections,.
Take a patron deity, expand and or limit spells further based on their sphere of influence. I:E Talos a war god may have more physical and destructive spells.
This type is mostly melee but is in it to stay, they shield themselves with wards and buffs then enter into the fray with powerful god driven blows.

Be whatever you want to be, seeing as there is no class system.
