Yesterday storms battered the south, killing 234 people across six states. Tornadoes obliterated entire neighborhoods, ripping roofs off of houses and generally just destroying everything.
I live in south east Tennessee, and it was freaking insane. We have TON of trees down everywhere (I even saw the whole top of a tree at least a hundred feet away from the rest of the tree, just chillin' out in the middle of our local mall's parking lot). There are also over 100,000 people in my town alone without power, one estimate says that we may not have power again for two or three days. (Props to Books-A-Million for having power and wi-fi, not to mention good coffee)
And that's just where I live.
Alabama had it worse. A lot worse. Tornadoes ripped through Tuscaloosa and Birmingham Alabama, killing over a hundred people in the state.
Has anyone else been affected by these storms?
