I have a question. I encountered Brink for the first time the other day and I am still learning new things, but I was wondering something.
People are discussing what class they will choose when they create their character. However, from what I gather you are able to change your class from any command centre while in game. I believe this applies to single and multiplayer but correct me if I am wrong, but if I am not: what is the significance of selecting a character when you create him?
Basically, from what I understand, each class has different unlockable skills which you unlock as you gain experience. If you have a single character, you could choose to make that character have all the basic skills from every class, or focus all your skill points into one class so that you can access the more advanced skills in that specific class. The point of having multiple characters, is so you can experiment with different class builds, I suppose.
I'm not 100% sure, but I have a feeling there are some things about appearance which you can't change after creation of a character. You can change clothes, etc, but somethings might remain permanent like hair color and tattoos. I have no idea for sure though.
