I've seen many posts claiming things like if they don't fix the water I won't get the game, and if they use steam DRM I won't get the game... So the people saying this, if you read this water and DRM doesn't matter and if you are THAT picky you put PC players in a very bad light, and can you honestly say even though the water may be bad ( which I bet it won't be in final release) or if it actually will use steam DRM. That you actually won't get this piece of rpg art you will actually not buy it, I would like to see those people who won't get IMO the best rpg game that will come out this year because of small details like that

I've seen no posts like that. All I've seen is like "The rapids look horrible in the trailer at 1:28, I hope Bethesda will fix it."

It's not the biggest deal in the world. But it should definitely be improved.
If people actually have said "Zooomg noo the rapids at 1:28 look so bad that I won't play the game because of them", they would probably say it because they want to push Bethesda a bit extra to improve it. I think they'd still play the game.

Why do you care? As long as you buy the game that's good enough for you isn't it? I'm buying the game, why would I care if others don't? It's their loss, not mine.

Why do you care what people think and don't think.... I've yet to see this.... Also why does everyone call it just water? The water looked fine... Call it a Water Rapid... that looked awful....

Yes that's my point they don't mean it and it annoys me that they care so much about graphics that they would actually say that, regardless of it being meant or not

I did indeed say I won't buy the game if I am forced to use Steam with a retail version and I meant it. Its both a matter of principle and the imposition it places on both me and my rig.

You are more than welcome to come visit me in the north of Sweden. I'll guarantee you a real Viking level of hospitality, show you what real rapids look like (flowing or frozen depending on the season), run some games of RuneQuest for you, open every bottle of single malt in my collection and tell you my collection of old man 'no s*** there I was stories' about roleplaying with the greats like Rolston, Peterson and Stafford. As an extra I'll even give you some fighting lessons if you're interested.

What we won't do though is play TESV, unless of course BGS change their mind. At which point I'll withdraw the invitation and drink the single malt myself in celebration.

While I think I understand the point being made, I will just say that people are perfectly entitled to buy or not buy a product based on whatever their purchasing criteria happens to be, and starting a thread to basically complain about people whose purchasing criteria you disagree with, is just asking for a flamewar.
