Hi friends -

I know this might be a silly request - as everyone's tastes and preferences - as well as monitor brightness / contrast - differ tremendously.

But part of the fun I've had with Oblivion modding has been endlessly tweaking OBGEv2, ENBSeries, and ScreenEffects settings. For some reason - like modding at all - I can never quite settle on a look that I'm content with for more than a week.

Sometimes I think I have the perfect combination of ssao, DoF, saturation, color balance.... and then after a few days I find myself thinking - boy... it's too red. Or ENBbloom is too intense... or whatever.


Could the mod community build a thread - perhaps similar to the Oblivion Character Screenshots or Landscape Screenshots - where we post a few screenshots and share our graphics settings? It could be a place for newbies to learn some starting tips, or when you find something really cool to share it.

Also - link to you ENB color correction palette if you're using one.

I'd really like to see what the community has come up with.

I think it's an excellent idea although I don't use any of the tools you do. I would like to learn more about them and their use.

Great idea! I'd be willing to throw in my 2c, fwiw. But I also have a lot to learn, mind you.

Someone should start such a thread. Maybe your good self? Or do you think one of the "bigger names" of the forums might be a better choice - if that's what you were sort of hinting at, even...

Reminds me of the ENB Series thread for San Andreas where everyone does this. It's a good idea.

Pretty subjective, I know. But basically, what I meant was, people who are known for graphics mods and/or awesome screenshots around here. That's all.

I've got a lot to contribute...

Unfortunately my graphics tweaking methods have been.... less than scientific. I have lots of (in my opinion) fantastic screenshots - but I wasn't keeping track of my settings until I had this idea... and the last few days have involved a lot of work in RL. (partly hiring my new boss, actually - with about 400 resumes to review...)

I will post some screens with detailed settings soon! I'm glad to see that there is some interest!
