Been about 6 months since I played TES2, 3-4 years since TES3 and 2 years since TES4. Played Battlespire about a year ago I think. Not playing any right now.
I'm gonna play TES3 and 4 more some day, with a great rig and tons of mods I haven't yet seen. I will also show TES2 to one person just to show how huge the game world is, and how a real sandbox looks like. Occasionally I just have to make another TES2 character and spend few weeks on it, but it's pretty much done for me by now.
Since TES games, I've played Mass Effects, Dragon Age and The Witcher, and while I truly enjoy their strong storytelling, I find them very, very hard to replay since there's no freedom at all. Apart from advancing the story there's pretty much nothing to do. They're like any other great games, or movies: see them once, tell your friends how great they were, but you're not gonna touch them again in years. TES series is, or at least was, about something entirelly different. You can spend ingame years just being your character, not worrying about saving the world unless you feel like it, and immediately after you're bored you make a totally different character.
I want to see an extraordinary character creation, again, and a gameworld that is never empty of jobs or quests for you to do.
