I have a lot of favorite moments in the TES series. Most from Morrowind, however.
Too many to name them all, but I loved when doing the Bloodmoon main quest, you go into the lake and kill the 100 year old Dreugh that's in there. Think his name is Aeslip. Fun character.

I don't care what anyone says...the most epic time in any TES game for me was when Uriel Septim said...

"This is the 27th of Last Seed. The year of Akatosh, 433. These are the closing days of the 3rd Era...and the final hours of my life..."
Hearing Patrick Stewart say that nearly made me cry.

This is sort of a funny and weird moment was just after the first assassins attack you and also when you get separated from the blades and emperor is that you are suddenly attacked by rats... RATS!

I was dissapointed in the "rat attack". It should've been assassins... Maybe they're.. RAT ASSASSINS!?

My favorite moments are when I disembark on either the Solstheim or Lokken coast, and it gently starts to snow. Gets me ever time, since it has been over 15 years since I have seen an actual snowfall.

In Mournhold, with the new Children of Morrowind, watching the little girl chase after her brother and seeing her whallop him with her teddy bear. When she stops, she says how she is going to kill him with her teddy bear.

Navigating the werewolves in Hircine's hunt.

For me, it will always be the first time I finished The Ultimate Heist. That's probably my third-best VG moment after:

1. Daytona USA. Track is blocked by an accident as I come out of the corner flat out. I decide to aim right at the noses of the wrecked cars and barge through. Just as I get there, they spin apart and I sail through a clear lane.

2. Borderlands. My better character vs. the Destroyer. I was doing 17K of damage a shot, but he was nickel and diming my health away faster than my shield could regen me. Finally decided that the most important thing to do would be "keep a clear line of sight just in case", so I left cover slightly. He had me down and headed out. BLAM! Second Wind. This is great for me because it was a deliberate gamble on my part.

There are other moments, but just charging out of the Imperial Palace having accomplished the most daring robbery ever? I had maybe 30 minutes until I needed to be asleep. I couldn't manage for 2 hours+ because I was still "feeling it". The excitement, the thrill. Now? I'm a much better sneak with much lower skills. I'm still treated to scenes that make me go "nice, Bethesda, nice." Like the Palace Guard I saw picking up paper. I just HAD to know... so I went and picked his pocket... for nothing (it was just the usual crumpled scrap).

My Dunmer Alchemist, Dralin Hlerayn, and I went to Yellow Tick Cave yesterday. She's level 1 and only Destruction and Restoration as majors (I want to choose when I level up, and they're very slow levelers). The rest of her magic skills are currently 25, but were around 15/20 at the time.

So in we went, first Conjurer went down pretty easy. However, she was low on magicka by this point (190 max atm), no Restore Magicka potions, but we continued on. As she rounded a corner she was greeted by a Stunted Scamp, two conjured Scamps and two Conjurers flinging destruction spells. She managed to take down the Stunted Scamp and one Conjurer. At this point we turned tail and ran for it. We were chased out of the cave, where the battle began anew in the open. This was more to her style. Constantly moving, Dralin barely got hit, it was only when she went in for on touch spells that she took damage. The walk to Weynon Priory was filled with suspense as she had no magicka left due to spamming Restore Health after the fight.

No long after I'd first started playing Morrowind, I found myself being chased by Furius Acilius through the caves under Ebonheart and getting my ass whooped. I ran into the underwater area at the end of the cave and probably should have taken the exit, but instead I panicked, hit Acilius with my jinkblade, and ran back in the other direction. I ran a fair distance away and stopped to heal myself when he didn't immediately appear.

After waiting for a couple minutes, I realized he wasn't following. I cautiously crept back to the entrance and found him floating where I'd left him. Had the AI glitched? No, I realized; he was dead. He had drowned while under the paralysis.

Holy ****, I thought. This game is awesome.

That was probably the most memorable time for me. However, I'll never forget the time it rained flaming dogs...

They should have used Gilbert Gottfried instead.

My favorite moment in Oblivion was right at the start of the game, after I had just created my character, I found I was in a jail cell, with cool lighting and some dark elf [censored]ing at me about how I was going to die in here.

I have two that I can think of.

One was in Morrowind, when I discovered those hidden underwater ruins that contain the Dragonbone Cuirass. Mudan, I think it's called.
I was playing through the main quest again (for the tenth time or so) last year, and had just gotten to the point where you first meet with Vivec. After stepping out of his palace, the sun was going down, and on a whim I decided that after such a momentous conversation, my character should go find a quiet place, watch the sun set, and meditate upon Vehk's words.
So I cast my levitate spell and flew for a few minutes, looking for some secluded place with a great view of the sun and ocean. I found the perfect locale, a bunch of islands (more like a sand-bar, really) to the south-west of Ebonheart, and the most southwestern place I could reach. So there was nothing in front of me but sea and sky as I sat on that little piece of land.

A while later, as I was preparing to go, I happened to look at the local map, and saw that I had been sitting on top of a doorway the entire time! My heart jumped.
It was so grand to find something new and enchanting, especially after all those years of playing... almost a decade later, and Morrowind still holds wonders I haven't seen.

My second favorite moment was first climbing to the top of Dive Rock on a sunny day. That's breathtaking.

One of my favorite moments was exploring around Seyda Neen when I was level 2 a long time ago, and found a cave with a long name, I wandered in, Sixth house base I'd never seen before, Extremely impressed. I walked around, struggled to survive the Ash zombies and what not in there, I suddenly find dead Ordinators with Indoril armor and smiled at the nice surprise before I kept exploring.

After time, I found myself in a chamber that was home to a dagoth, I nearly soiled myself and so I saved, charged him, got murdered.

I reloaded and figured I'd see if I had anyway to go about killing him, I decided I had to make him drain his magic first if I wanted any chance of survival, he eventually ran out and started moving towards me to smack me to death, I used a Rising force potion to escape to a Ledge and heal, I saved Knowing he no longer had any magic or ranged attacks, I had a set of Ga-Julan Bonemold armor on and Tahiel's Iron Sparksword, i had a few scrolls such as Hellfire and Decided to jump down and use them on the no doubt angry Dagoth below, he took a few hits and then I charged in and started slashing at him with my trusty Iron sparksword and he was taking consecutive hits (Luckily very few misses) Suddenly I do miss and he gets a hit in, 15 HP gone in a hit (Of 69) He hits hard and it'd only take a few to kill me at this point, he still has 60%'ish health left so i keep hitting and drinking standard Health restores, but I'm running VERY low on potions and he had about 1/4 of his health left at this point, I decide to down a flinn and some Sajumma i had in my inventory for a Strength boost, drink some restore fatigues to help the accuracy and hit away, I finally killed him with 7 Health left, I loot his corpse and walk out Triumphantly.

I used my only rising force potion during the fight and didn't think about the fact you can't get up these ledges to get out.

Oblivion was my first TES and belive me, I knew nothing about it. Nothing. Many good moments ofcourse. When I realize how big it was, NPC's hade a life, all the guild's and side quest's. Also, the first Oblivion gate was special.

My best TES moment was in december of last year. After a few days on this forum I got super hyped about Morrowind. I did not have a PC at the moment, only using my Mac to pay my bills and manage my music and iPhone. So I start searching the net, trying to find Morrowind for Xbox. I found it cheap on a few sites, but could not find it on a regular online game store. I hate to buy things from people online and did not know what to do. Then I saw there was a GOTY edition with two extra chapters. I had to have it.

As x-mas was around the corner, I begged my girlfriend to hunt down a copy of the game. I told her, I want the GOTY but if you think it's to expensive (120$) just get me the plain one (10$.) I wait and wait, then eventually the gift is in my hands, She looks at me with a big smile on her face. I open the box and... The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind Game of the Year Edition.

[...] every gaming instinct in my body told me that the ph4t l00t is always at the deepest level of a dungeon, and then the embarrassment when I finally realized where it was.

Whodunit? (Oblivion, Dark Brotherhood). I felt like such a vile person, especially after killing Dovesi Dran [...]

This....
1) I got that too, Going through, dying a thousand times, exploring every nook and cranny, then was about to give up and saw a door near the entrance and thought, 'Ah what the heck' and inside=Dwemer Puzzle Box :D
2) I loved that quest! I replayed that like a thousand times, finding new ways to kill them and what the other NPCs thought about it! :P

*EDIT Also, when I left the Dwemer ruin, I saw a massive dust storm full of cliff racers, then the door shut behind me :stare:
