Sorrows of a Hungry Dragon

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 4:02 pm

Why on earth did this juicy morsel have to be a Dovahkiin?

What does a Dragon have to do to go out into the mountains and find itself some food hassle free?

Look at how a lazy afternoon hunting for food has suddenly turned into a life and death battle.

I can't get this bugger to stop wrecking my nervous system with his shouting...

People aren't structured right for good eating, dragons would eat bovine.

had been pretty cool, you was riding suddenly a dragon attacks, kicks you of your horse and eat it ignoring you if you don't attack it.

I would pay double for the game if I knew that was possible in it. Haha, that's awesome.

I'm all for an arrogant dragon.

I really hope each dragon has some kind of distinct personality, sound, and look. (Simple things, like 1 dragon has a broken horn, another has a deep scar, and for sounds, maybe female, male, beastly, proper... and then some should have diffrent shades of color... green tint, blue.. gold.. ect.. just to make them slightly diffrent, but the real challenge would be to give it it's own personality...)
I came up with the conclusion that each dragon will have it's own dragon shout use, but that doesn't show personality.

This thread is win!

Also I'd love to see the kind of differing personality for each dragons as well, just like what X_Myth expressed in his post.

I agree different dragons would be very in depth.

But I doubt it. Unless the dragon we've been seeing has been the same one this whole time.

"Sorrows of a Hungry Dragon" might apply equally to Alduin, of course...

No, I don't think it is. In the GI screen the dragon was standing on steps. But like everything else, I think they're only giving us a taste. The spider, giant, and were-yeti have all been the same type up to this point as in the GI articles.

But yeah I would love to see dragons with different personalities. If they're not just mindless beasts, you'd think at least a FEW would have other agendas over simply killing anything that comes in sight. Wiki seems to be under the impression of different types of dragons, and dragons that may speak to you. Also that some are alone and some in small groups. It quoted the GI update concerning the Creation Engine with the Havok Behavior system, but I do not remember those words. Regardless, I hope that that still happens. Maybe the dragons don't want to be your friend, but perhaps it's like what [either Todd or the French Playstation mag] said about the wolves? Like if there's (hypothetically) a dragon lair, say the dragon has some hatchlings. It might just stare at you and not chase you down- unless you get too close.

Of course that's just wishful thinking, but it'd be awesome.

This is not supposed to be happening...he is hurting me real bad

If I quit and go back, what am I going to tell Alduin?

How am I going to explain all these wounds...and the total loss of hearing in one ear

No, the shame will be too much,...I must get this Dovahkin head,
