First of awsome [censored] video!! about time something showed up. And now to my question..
do you think/has it been confirmed that the running sequences from the gameplay video is the way that it will look when you run in first person?

Seeing as it's claimed to be a gameplay trailer, I think it's only natural to assume that the running in the video is the new "sprint" feature in action.

EDIT: And thanks to posters below it doesn't even have to be an assumption. :hehe:

A sprint mode has been confirmed in the game. So chances are good. Otherwise it's going to be exactly like Oblivion and Morrowind.

Our very own Mankar Camoran of the forums asked Pete Hines this very question on twitter. Yes, that was in-game. It was letterboxed because as you'll notice that was in-between shots of the wall from the teaser trailer which was only in letterbox. So, they made the screen on the running part that way so it would match up.

Everything you saw in the trailer (besides the shots of the wall from the teaser) was entirely how it will be in the game itself. (excluding the cinematic camera)

it's been confirmed that everything that wasn't a shot of the wall was in-game footage.

it seemed more like he was sprinting than running, though. i doubt there's headbob (or panting) on regular movement.

like said above it can be assumed that is the sprint feature, it looks really good and will add to immersion.

I'm betting Gears of War played a major role with this feature.

I'm betting you are wrong. People have been suggesting that kind of running for a long time.

Will only know if we see more videos of running or find out for ourselves in the game or other.
