I just finally got Daggerfall to work and I was wondering what the optimal settings are for the game....I would like to use mouselook but I kinda don't know if its possible. Also if anyone could tell me how to cast a spell, that would be nice, since I've been trying to play a mage but keep dying!

Esc --> Controls --> Mouse --> Click "View".

That is for Mouse view. Ya can switch to Cursor mode and back to Mouse view by pressing the "Activate Cursor" button.

As for the use of an offense spell, press the "Activate Center Object" Button, usually on the target at the center of ya screen if one uses Mouse view. In Cursor mode, just click on the foe after ya load in ya offense spell.
