Idea: If the trailer was truly all gameplay footage, is there a possibility that we could control a dragon (think section of bioshock two where you play as a little sister)? The concept seems really messed up and Im not sure whether I would like that sort of thing at all, but I cant shake the feeling that the camera shots were more than just cinematics.
Reasoning:
1. They could just pan over the vistas, so why use the perspective of a dragon, complete with swinging camera (to show flying perspective) if it was not in the game?
possible rebuttal to 1: they wanted to show the chase between the PC and the dragon following him.
my response: seems a bit weird that they couldn't just follow the dragon in third person cruising behind the PC or use some other camera angle other than taking the dragon's perspective
2. As noted, the rest of the trailer is all gameplay footage, either shot from first person, third person, or landscape shots (obviously ingame). This would be the only moment in the trailer (that I remember) where something was included that was not gameplay and shot from a perspective.
So I kind of hope this does turn out to be completely wrong (It seems unlikely), but I'm interested to hear your own thoughts...
