Whenever I ride my horse, it's only a matter of time til the game crashes. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes of riding, sometimes it takes 10 seconds of riding, but it will eventually crash. In addition, my horse will suddenly get pushed, by an invisible force, all over Cyrodil. Sometimes we fly straight up in the air, then do a freefall all the way back down. the only thing that saves me is to jump off my horse part way down, and drink a levitation potion. It's quite irritating, and I don't think it's linked to OOO or MMM, because I had this problem a long time ago too. Any help on this would be great. If no one can help me on solving it, then at least recommend some possible substitutes for lore-friendly mounts. Afterall, I doubt anyone really wants to anolyze my long load list.

I actually just transferred all this stuff over from my old harddrive, and I didn't recheck my load order and everything. I didn't notice the delinquents until I read my post. I'm going to install the quite feet mod and see if that helps. Thanks man.

I applied the INI tweaks, and I tried the quiet feet mod. This did not fix my problem. The problem is not linked to OOO or MMM. I know this because I had the problem before I installed these mods. The problem is not a simple overload of my computer's capabilities. It is a weird problem in which my horse flies straight up in the air, and comes crashing back down, after having been 'pushed' all over Cyrodil by some unseen hand. Sometimes I jump off the horse while being pushed, and then use "dude where's my horse" to locate it, but the poor horse is miles away.
I remember asking this same question a long time ago, and didn't get any feedback then, that's why I thought I'd try again now.
Does anyone have any recommendations for perhaps an alternative mount mod? And would this help anyway? The game just isn't as fun without a horse, and the Midas flying carpet doesn't feel very lore friendly.

I had the problem with both of the computers I played on. The previous one had XP, 2gb ram, 250 hd, 1.5ghz amd dual core, and X1900 video card. My new comp has 1 terabyte hd, 6gb ram, intel 2.7ghz dual core, and X1900, and Win 7.
