Now that steam has opened preloading for Brink, Direct2Drive have the codes and download files necessary to get it good to go. As far as I can tell my Psycho Pack preorder code is not available yet however.

You can also skip downloading from D2D and enter the code directly to steam to download through steam.

D2D allows you to do that? Cool beans! Good news for the D2D people.

Yeah, I downloaded both for the hell of it. The D2D files are just a backup of the game in steam files, so either way you do it will install the encrypted files anyhow.

anyone notice D2D now has a "summer sale" promotion that takes 25% off BRINK and other pre-ordered games?

they screwed the customers that pre-ordered days or weeks earlier! it's even $1 cheaper than the 10% + 15% off referral.

i don't care about the $1, its still a good deal.. but im talking about those that pre-ordered it at $45 and its now 25% off even before released.

That must have been a one day sale, it's gone, and I've been checking almost every day since I bought it. Nice of them to get keys so early, kind of refreshing actually, a developer that follows through on promises, releases a week early, I'm happy. Thanks Beth.
