It looks like that Skyrim is heading up for GOTY, but I think it has a verrrry heavy wight competitor such as Diablo-III, from Blizzard who always deliver, and Diablo franchise is as classy as TES franchise, so I say we have to wait and see.

I do not count ME 3, DAO 2 and the like, as competitors for those two heavy wights.

This. Not to mention how Morrowind fans always claim how "flawed" Oblivion was when Morrowind was sewn with so many glitches and exploits and a clunky combat system and so on. But yeah, no flaws there <_<

Also, I say that Skyrim is a shoe in for GotY from PCgamer, gameinformer and the VGA for sure. I think either Diablo 3 or Mass effect 3 will be in second. (Diablo 3 for me :celebration: )

Not to mention many npc's didn't even bother to visit their own homes. Businesses never really closed either. And dice told me that I couldn't hit anything with a sword, dispite me obviously hitting the guy...

I'll put my money on Skyrim, though its got its work cut out for it. I feel that once we get a solid walkthrough it'll be pretty obvious if Skyrim will be getting most of the awards or just a few.

When Skyrim comes out on 11.11.11 they might aswell just ship it as the GOTY edition.

I am sure it will be my fav game ever and that all that matters, other than Kingdoms of Amalur its the only game I really care about coming out this year. I mostly just like Bethesda open world rpgs. In a 4 1/2 year period I only played FO3 and OB.

Trying to be a full time gamer again is tough, as so few games I like. When I was younger I would play anything half decent. Now I have very specific tastes.

No love for Diablo 3? Diablo 3 is my second most anticipated game to come out this year after Skyrim. It will only be 11 years since D2 came out when D3 comes out, I want my Diablo heroine!

I honestly think it could be between Rage and Skyrim. I don't believe Mass Effect 3 has a Chance (much as I love the Mass Effect series, 3 is coming out just a little too soon to be a game-changer).

I'll have to play Crysis to see, but honestly, Crysis games are a tech demo of Cryengine, but there's not really much "Game" in them... We'll see.
