In morrowind There was the House Hlaalu,House Redoran,House Telvanni those were the only joinable ones but their was more like House indoril,House Dres, and House Dagoth.

Morrowind has so many factions and things like those houses to do. When I played Oblivion there was only the main factions like Fighters Guild etc. I think that Oblivion was missing out on alot of things that morrowind had.

Do you guys think that there should be more factions in Skyrim like there was in Morrowind.

Most Definitely, in my opinion there's a lot of good roleplay value to learning about different groups, and being able to join one that fits your style and characteristics. Having a good number of factions, houses, parties, etc. can add a lot of life to the world. I remember reading an old interview when Morrowind was being made, and they said they really overhauled the factions because it was one of the most popular features in Daggerfall.

I'm sure we'll see some interesting groups in Skyrim already.

I think theres something like 9 or so "Holds" in Skyrim and each has its own theme. Idk if theyre actual factions.

more factions would be nice but having the current ones more developed is more of a concern..
and hopefully they base promotions on morrowind more ha oblivion .. as in have to do a number of quests and with certain skills being certain levels.. made them much more dynamic.. my battlemage in morrowind couldnt get promotion in thieves' guild easy which i liked... whereas in oblivion which not only made battle mages too good, but also let them become the gray fox with no effort at all, becuse who needs security when you have good alteration skills (and skeleton key)
