Dismemberment

I just realized, you could chop peoples limbs off in Fallout 3/NV, so there is not a doubt in my mind you will be able to do this in Skyrim, it will be so cool!

Theres no relation between the 2 games. They already said somewhere it won't be as gorey as fallout.

There are going to be special finishing moves when you kill somebody already, I don't see why can't one of them be decapitating the other with a claymore.

"There can be only one!!!"

Skyrim's on a whole new engine, what you could do in the Fallout games has no bearing on what you can do in Skyrim.

Not to mention TES has never been that gory.

Todd said that skyrim will not be as violent as Fallout, Fallout does it becuase it is a dark humor ES doesnt need to follow that theme
also how did you just find out you could dismember people? I punched someone and their skull exploded

ok... but there really is a relation between Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim because Bethesda is involved with both of them...

They've said it won't be as ridiculously gory as FO. Which is good, imo. It fitted a FO environment, but not TES.

No, but they also said it will be quite a bit more gorey than Oblivion. With the new engine and the institution of finishing moves, I could see there being an OCCASIONAL dismemberment, at much more realistic levels than in FO.

No there isn't. Bethesda has made all the Fallouts (Not sure about fallout 1?) But the games have no impact on one another, they are 100% different series. Bethesda added extreme gore to Fallout because it adds a much more dirty and grimy feeling, which should be in a post apocalypse.

I dunno, some of the "Dead" sprites in Arena and Daggerfall were pretty freaking gruesome (for 16-bit graphics anyway).

Bethesda only did Fallout 3. Even New Vegas had only external assistance from Bethesda. The other ones were done by what is now Obsidian.

I hope that [censored] isn't what I think it is - if it is, It won't be in, because Bethesda devs aren't [censored]s like yourself. (guess the censor! :P )

i really dont think that games are ready for chopping limbs yet, every game that i have played that has had this implemented in it just looks really weird, the limb always chops in the same spot and the end result looks unreal.
