I think Skyrim will be the first TES game I use stealth in

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:02 pm

I don't know why, but I think with finishing moves, stealth kills, improved archery, and sprinting that stealth will be fun.

Anyone else feeling the same way?

What if you get caught out in the open by a dragon? Oh, and I don't think Alduin will let you sneak up on him

Just a thought :D

I was going to go for stealth, but I'll think I'll just go for the good 'Ol warrior with some dual wielding,

They have defiantly changed it I can't to try it out, I liked it in Oblivion and I'm going to love it in Skyrim.

I've always played a stealthy character. With all the finishers, improved ranged combat and dual-wielding, I think being a ninja is going to become infinitely more enjoyable.

I've always played at least one stealth character and the improvements to the stealth system are going to be even more incentive to check it out.

Stealth characters will probably actually need to use poison's this time around to be able to go toe to toe with dragons in straight up combat. It'll be interesting. :P

Oblivion was the first TES game where the stealth mechanics were mature enough so playing a stealth character was actually fun, and I expect them to improve it further with Skyrim. So yeah, my first character will be a stealth character :)

Stealth does look awesome in Skyrim. I so want to make a Sam Fisher character for it now.

I've never been a stealth fan, but maybe I'll create a Rincewind-like Mage character, combining magic with cowardy.......stealth moves :)

I dont know, the name kinda makes it creepy for me. :P

Here's hoping for some dragon nests that are riddled with traps and the like, which only stealth characters could only get through safely.

As an agile/speedy wood elf huntress, stealth/sneak is a big part of stalking my prey. High barter and medium speechcraft too, but not into lockpicking. Medium blade and shield if I get into trouble, with alchemy for poisons and simple restorative magic. So yea, mainly stealth... As always :)

I liked Stealth in Oblivion, I always played an Assassin. I also like playing as a Mage and a Warrior and a Thief and a Merchant and even leaving the IC right away and living in the wilderness as a Survivalist. I don't understand how people wouldn't want to play all of them.

I always start off with a stealthy character to begin with. Nice to know someone else will be getting their creep on too! :P
Tbh, the duel wielding thing has got me considering playing a pure mage for the first time... maybe for the second playthrough though.

This might be the first time that I don't start with a stealth character. It seems like with the new melee combat, and all the preview videos, they are pushing for the 'classic' dragonborn to be more of a barbarian type character with longswords and light armor. I don't know, I just think that fighting dragons as a stealth character would be significantly less epic.

I think the final adversary would be hard no matter how you have developed your character, and I surely hope they have balanced the game-play for any of the three archetypes.

I'm a stealth lover myself.

I think I might play as a Bosmer archer on my first play-through. Granted that they don't look like fat little dwarves!

I think stealth will be alot of fun in Skyrim. :toughninja:

I loved stealth in MW and OB, Skyrim might be the first game I play a mage in though.

the irony of skyrims launch is never ending for me. i almost always play stealth characters in these types of games and ive always wanted to dual wield daggers in a TES game. mods never allowed true dual weilding. now that skyrim is coming out soon..............i dont want to anymore.

at least with my first character i will be a huge nord warrior with an axe and a shield and i cant wait to try out shield bashing.
