I dont understand how people are mad at Sony when its HACKERS that did this. If they didn't hack this wouldnt be happening. ANd just because Sony stands up for their product and punishes hackers, the hackers have to retaliate by doing something bigger than before. Its so childish. I still love my ps3. And i still support sony. I just hate hackers.

while i do agree, sony probably should have put more effort into security on securing millions of credit card details. of course if somebody wants it bad enough there isn't enough security in the world but still. i'd expect microsoft to fall to this first they seem to have more indignant detractors. so either they tried microsoft and failled at some point or sony was too simple by comparison. any other reasoning even from the culprits is BS. you don't do this level of damage in protest to something. it's literally millions of dollars of damage and someone will end up paying for that. sony will be under pressure to make an example of the culprits
