3 Beasts

Post » Sun May 29, 2011 1:15 am

Ok, i have three questions about three beasts, first the Rieklings, there are several rumors that they are related to the falmer, is this true, or are they even mer at all? Could they be a goblin breed made for the snow?

Next the Grahls, i can't seem to find any information on them, does anybody know anthing about them except that they are big, ugly and have tusks?

Lastly, the spriggans and this is a more generalized question, are solstheims spriggans related to cyrodils spriggans, because they both look very different, were cyrodils spriggans created in a different way from those in solstheim?

Just a couple of questions to keep the blood flowing in the lore forum.

OK then.

Isnt Solthism covered in ice and snow, wiht only a few trees? Because if sothen the spriggans would eb very diffrent, as the Cyrodillic Spirggains are made in forests of lush greeness.

Do a forum search, there are many threads regarding Rieklings and Falmer.

The .nif name and the textures for the Grahl are called 'Ice Troll.' So, I guess that's what they are. Apparently they have flaming eyes. Read the song of Aevar Stone Singer.

Bloodmoon spriggans look more coniferous (specifically, spruce) to me, whereas Cyrodil's spriggans are more reminiscent of deciduous tree-coloring (browner bark, a more leafy-green).

Just a couple of questions to keep the blood flowing in the lore forum.

hint: don't post inane questions just because you can. Quantity doesn't equal quality.

Altmer breed and trains Goblins, right? Maybe the Falmer used to do the same to the rieklings, thus the rumors of them being related. I mean, in a war you would use any manpower available, even if it was goblinpower.

That's a bit like asking if the black bear of Canada is different then the black bear in the US.... That they look different is just that one is covered in snow and the other isn't.... The other difference in apperence is just gameplay... I mean the dunmer of Morrowind look also different then those in Cyrodiil.... they're still the same dunmer.....

The same reason a Khajiit can wear boots in Cyrodiil. :)

One theory is that, yes, Rieklings are Falmer, the other is that they're simply snow goblins.

thats only part of what i was asking, look at this excerpt from the UESP:

The tree spirits of this island. When the All-Maker breathed life into the creatures of the land, his Breath blew through the trees as well. Some of these trees kept a part of this life, and these are the spriggans you see today. ? Risi Ice-Mane

Now since the all-maker is not that familiar in cyrodilian territory would that role be replaced by someone else, like Kynareth the divine most in-touch with nature
