Is it illegal to send a single game mesh to someone else if they own the game but deleted the mesh? With mods people swap and change meshes all the time so would it be okay for one person to upload the mesh with a retex to make it "official"?

I'm just wondering because my tiber septim statue mesh has messed up royal (not showing any niftrishape basically) and I don't know why and I can't find a replacer mod and I rea-heallly don't want to have to install the entire game again.

Can't you just extract the mesh from the BSA? Or don't you have the original archives any more?

But seriously, if do that nothing will happen, why are you even asking. By the way, you should unpack the original mesh you messed up with a program like http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3311 and replace the messed up one with the original one.
