Mundas and Nirn...

I keep hearing "Mundas" and from the context from which I've seen it, it seems like it is the same thing as Nirn. So, are Mundas and Nirn the same thing?

They are usually used interchangeably, but Nirn refers to the heavenly body mortals live on while Mundus also includes the moons and the Aedric planets.
