Fixsave175

Daggerfall can't allocate object memory. I already did the troubleshooting, and the first solution is to add a line to the z.cfg file or something, with a number greater than 2000. It didn't work. So, I did a search of the forums here, and the FAQ recommends running fixsave - the newest one - in case you have faulty one shots or something, accumulated in your save file wasting space. The problem is, fixsave demands I insert my CD. Anyone know how to cheat the system here?

Assuming your fixsave program is in your "Dagger" folder:

In dosbox, set up to run your game as normal except: after typing cd\dagger, type fixsave.exe (or whatever your fixgame program is called)

On the bright side, I got Fixsave to work with your suggestions. On the other hand, Fixsave corrupted my save file with an irreparable error 1003. No worries. That's what backup saves are for. Hopefully, if I just persist long enough, Daggerfall will give up on trying to make me quit and I'll have a pretty good game.
