How long on average is Arena?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:45 pm

I've been thinking of doin gan LP of Arena. I've got it installed and everything works fine. I was just wondering on avergae how long does it take to complete? By this I mean, the bare minimum, the main questline not with all side quests etc. I would greatly appreciate your responses. Thank you.

Your looking at a pretty long time...the thing is, you cant just go straight through the MQ, by the 3rd dungeon the creatures will tear you to shreads forcing you to go out and level up elsewhere.

That's okay, I can level up between videos if you have to be pretty hefty in some areas. So are we looking at 20+ hours of gameplay?

In my experience it can be done in far less than 20 hours, but you're only new to it once, so it's hard to say how long your first time would take.

Getting artifacts is fun, I recommend it. The best place to do so is the Imperial City; ask for general rumors and eventually someone will cough up some hearsay.

Also IMO you don't necessarily need to beef up to get through the dungeons. It's possible to be no higher than 10th level upon quest completion. It sure makes things easier, though.

Off-screening leveling up really ruins the experience for some people. That's why I love Veriax's LPs, he doesn't offscreen a thing, and he's on his 250ish video for morrowind.

My goodness, time weighs heavily on some folks' hands.

Well, it's an interactive LP. One video set was him getting 5 spoons from every city...So it's not all from the main quest alone.
