Being a cheat freak, I love being over-powerful. I really want to try the Invulnerable cheat (ctrl f4), But whenever I press it nothing happens (monsters still hurt me. Very badly, too.)

Cheatmode is on, and I don't have any keys toggled to Ctrl or F4. Why isn't it working?

Are you adding z.cfg after the executable when you start it up?

I'm going to assume you're running DF in DOSBox. DOSBox uses Ctrl-F4 for something. You need to remap the keys in DOSBox so that Ctrl-F4 is free.

I have another question though. I'm constantly getting paralyzed, and it's annoying the hell out of me since they last so long. How do I get rid of it?

Getting an enchantment/spell to resist magicka will work.
And if I recall correctly, High Elves are highly resistant to paralyzation. (Or actually immune)

If you create a custom class, you can put Immune to Paralysis as an advantage as well.

Custom free action spell, minimum parameters, 5 spell points, works every time. You can cast it while paralyzed, too.
