Could someone recommend a good hotkey expansion mod?

I found this one by Scruggs, Expanded Hotkeys and Spell Delete, but it's pretty old by now.

Is this one still recommended, or is there another that folks like? Thanks.

There's three that I use, all together. Super Hotkeys, which is a great way to expand on your 1-8 keys and which makes that mod you have obsolete. Then there's Hov's Hotkeys, and Hotkey Casting 3.5, both of which deal mainly with spells and use the other keys on your board. All of them work nicely together and you will end up with almost every key you have available being a hotkey for something, with modifiers as well.

Super Hotkeys is a great mod with lots of very useful features. I also use http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12244; ridiculously useful and convenient.

I had problems with Super Hotkeys not functioning upon death and reload. I use ST Hotkeys now which has given me no problems and does everything Super Hotkeys does but better in my opinion: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30673

Nice. I just downloaded Hotkey Casting Updated, too. Thanks.

One thing Id' really like is to be able to use my mousewheel to scroll through items. In fact, the best scenario would be to have a key that would toggle setting the mousewheel to scroll through weapons, then with say the shift key or something, have the mousewheel scroll through spells and potions. Basically, like most FPS games, where the mousewheel scrolls through weapons. Anyone know if this is possible, either through Super Hotkeys and Hotkey Casting, or something else?

Thanks.

Hotkey Casting/Updated has that option but only works with spells. I haven't seen any hotkey mod that does this for items though.

Thanks.

Does anyone know how to change the modifier hotkeys in the Super Hotkeys mod?

I am a left-handed mouse user, and would like to change the modifier keys from left shift and left alt and left alt/shift to the four directional arrow keys to the left of the right-hand keypad.

I don't see directions on changing modifier keys, beyond a mention in the read me that it is done in the .ini file ("
While hotkeys are generally configured in-game, modifier keys are configured from the .ini file. The options available from the .ini file are extensive, confusing, and difficult to explain.") Does anyone know how to make this change?

Thanks!

I use and really like the ST Hotkeys mod. Very easy to use. The keys to change sets are also easily reassigned if you want different set keys.

The main reason I use super hotkeys is because it was able to get around on equip spells. Such as the sword from KOTN that adds a healing spell when equipped. Does this mod do that as well?

I may have to give ST Hotkeys a try too. I couldn't get Super Hotkeys to work because I have a gaming keyboard that uses a special driver to enable a second set of keys. I could never figure out why it wouldn't work, but I went back to Improved Hotkeys and that worked fine. I'd love to have the extra set of keys though, so maybe ST Hotkeys would work...
